| class comments : | Somehow I pulled off an A-, but I believe the final helped me. The class placed a huge emphasis on tests. No HW. Miss less than 5 days, she drops lowest test. Automatically replaces lowest test grade with final test grade (if final is higher). Lectures were somewhat boring (but hey... it's math) and whenever one section was finished, another would begin... it was a non-stop frenzy that almost drove me insane. TONS of material. Class RARELY let out early. |

Perhaps the reason we went so quickly is because she thought we knew this stuff already. I was in a class with all these incoming freshmen who had this stuff already in their HS classes. Most of the people who took 141 here at State seemed very lost along with me. |

| class comments : | she did a pretty good job explaining things. if you didnt understand something you could just ask and she'd repeat it. my problem was i never asked...
attendance policy was do-able. if you are late/absent for 5 days or less in the semester (keep in mind the class meets every day), then she drops your lowest test grade. and then for everyone she will replace your lowest test grade with the grade you got on the final if it's higher. |

| class comments : | McCollum was pretty good at teaching the material. She went pretty fast but i guess she needed to get through all the material. She was nice and let us have a day off every once in awhile. She drops your lowest test grade if you have 4 or less abscenses so i guess their incentive not to skip. |
