| class comments : | All Faulkner did was tell us stories of his life and his drug addict son. We were supposed to cover like 6 chapters, but only got through the 1st. It was ridiculous! |

| instructor comments : | He is BY FAR, the worst professor I've ever had. I was very concerned about our progress midsemester, so I made an appointment. He didn't show up, and then called me out the next day in class, saying it was my fault, and that he was waiting for me. So we ended up meeting and I told him my concerns, and he told me I should reconcider my major and that I would be no use to society after graduation. I can't stand this man, and hope I never have to see him again. |

| course comments : | This is basically a logic course. It also covers some of the mathematical tools you'll need for later on: proof by induction, cardinality, equivalence relations, etc. If you plan on taking MA407 - MA425, then work hard here. It will make things much easier later on. |

| class comments : | The design of the course is well-intended. It's supposed to help students to develop their logic and mathematical skills. However, any good intentions were rendered naught by Faulkner's piss-poor teaching. |

| instructor comments : | This guy is a complete douche bag. He eats up a majority of class time by telling jokes and personal anecdotes. He's rarely prepared for class. He had habit of skipping class. If you want to do well, just ignore his lectures, and read the book. If you want to spend your tuition wisely, then don't take him. Some students like him because he covers so little material which makes for easy tests. Of course, later on they get screwed for not learning the material. |
