| course comments : | The material is somewhat fundamental, but not all that exciting. It helps get a grasp on the basics of nuclear science. |

| class comments : | It's not a bad course, but it could be more organized. Basically it's a full lecture with lots of examples and formulas for notes. The homeworks help prepare you for the open book exams, so make sure you know how to get correct answers when you have the book to reference. |

| instructor comments : | He's a fairly nice guy, light accent, very intelligent. Doesn't always explain stuff the clearest the first time, but he's responsive to questions. This class is probably too simple for him to be teaching. |

| course comments : | The 202 lab is pretty much useless. Very unorganized, and doesn't give you much insight into how things work in real life. |

| class comments : | The labs take 1-3 hours depending on how fast you solve the multiple problems you encounter. Then the 10 page lab write-ups occupy your weekends. |

| instructor comments : | Hawari does not do labs, the TA's do. I had Hahn and Fischbach, and they were laid back and helpful in lab and leinient in grading (as long as you turn in at least something for each part of the lab report). |
