| class comments : | not a single person in the class got an A! i maxed out the grading scale on EVERY lift, ACED the midterm, and got a B on the final, and still got a B in the class because i forgot to bring my workout log one day, which was -5 from my final grade!!! it was an ok class, but you'd better be in pretty good shape and take the class fairly seriously if you want an A.

| course comments : | Your standard 100-level PE. Expectations are obviously higher for 107 than for, say, 102 or 101. This is a very easy course if you do the following:
* Don't miss class (or you'll lose points on your grade)
* Do any/all extra credit opportunities you get.
* If you're out of shape and/or not willing to work to improve your shit, then take it credit only. Otherwise, you should be satisfied with your grade. |

| class comments : | The class hardly required any out-of-class work. The only time I found myself working was when I crammed for the final exam and midterm, and even then the instructor basically emailed us the exam before and called it a "study guide." Easy stuff.
But, it's a good idea to run at least one day a week of your own initiative. I had class on M and W, so I typically ran on my own on Friday.
Don't bother buying the book, just pick up the course pack. We never touched the book or were required |

| class comments : | Lewis made this class the fitness AND wellness aspect. Her two tests were simple, just buy her $9 coursepack and she will basically tell you the answers the class before. The running part is easy, show up and just try and you will be fine. Two or three days spent in the weight room, just giving a basic overview of fitness and wellness. |

| course comments : | Great PE. I had no weightlifting experience, and this class definitely taught me everything you need to know to get started. If you already lift, the first few weeks might be boring because all she does is explain how to use the machines. |

| class comments : | Like most PEs, it's easy to get an S but pretty hard to get an A. Only take it for a grade if you are experienced and plan to go to class every day. Grade was based on attendance, midterm/final, workout logs and performance lifts. Girls are sometimes intimidated to take this PE but don't be. There were plenty of other girls in the class. |
