| course comments : | The material was somewhat difficult, but very interesting! It covered the formation, life, and death of stars, galaxies, light in the color spectrum, how astronomers study the stars and galaxies. Very interesting! I'm a political science major and this was an elective to fulfill my Natural Sciences requirement...I recommend to anyone! |

| class comments : | The class was mostly all lecture, but the lecture was very stimulating. Dr. Reynolds gave 4 midterms and a final, and allowed the student to drop the lowest midterm grade. He also gave one homework assignment to study for each test...they were HARD assignments but really helped me prepare for the tests. Material was presented VERY well. There was a mandatory attendance policy but only counted 5% of the final grade |

| instructor comments : | One of the best teachers I've had at NCSU! Dr. Reynolds was very friendly and humorous; assignments were always graded very promptly. He presented the material extremely well. He let class have a 5 minute break in the middle, and at the end of each class asked students to write down the most interesting thing and most confusing thing about class that day, and used that to constantly adjust his teaching. Reynolds is one of the best! |

| instructor comments : | Best professor out there. Not good to have as your first professor simply because he sets the bar so high, most other professors look like they arent as good. Tests were given back next day. |
