Look, this is a no-brainer. There's no reason this feature shouldn't have been added with the initial Photo Gallery revisions...unless you guys copped out and just made the "captions" the filenames, and since it's like a massive shared resource, changing one caption would change the filename, which would change all the other captions in all the other galleries a picture occurs in....

You know, that's pretty dumb.

Anyway, if that's not the case, then this is the type of thing I consider broken.

its not the file name, if you delete a photo from your gallery it doesnt delete it from tww, i.e. if you posted it in a thread it will still be there now.

as in the caption is drawn from the original filename

try copying someone else's pic into your gallery

same caption

every caption you see in my gallery is actually the filename... becuase i'm too lazy to write captions
