If the piliots were murdered and the planes were indeed flown by the terriorists, how exactly did the terriorists manage to find the WTC from up in the air. How did they pinpoint the building without being directed?

Have you ever seen a picture of NY? The wtc towers really stuck out - easy to see if you're flying lower than about 5,000 ft or so. You'd have to be much higher to NOT see them

It isnt that hard to find the WTC buildings. You can see them for miles, even from the air
And the planes originated form Kennedy (in brooklyn) and Boston. so both planes wouldnt have ascended much anyway.

if they have a navigator they can fly anywhere.

The planes had GPS, most likely. The terrorists may have had the GPS coordinates of the buildings. Wouldn't be too difficult to find them like that.

The planes they were flying were 757 and 767s and the new Airbuses. I asked my father the same question. These planes are so advanced all they need are simple cordinates to enter into the system, adjust the altimiter and bam, you run in to a WTC tower.

The terrorists probably planned this for a while. I'm sure they had a very good way for the location. I've also heard that they were probably trained pilots in those types of planes, because all 4 planes had very similar flight decks and if you could fly one you could fly them all. I think the terrorists flew the planes. If I was a pilot with a gun to my head I still would not fly a plane into a building.

I think it was the terrorists flying the planes. I just can't fathom a pilot following those orders. If you have a gun to your head and the guy says "fly into this building or die", you're screwed either way.

they had to have been trained, and specifically for the 757/767 (both have the same cockpit). no other way. some people called on cell phones from the planes...the pilots were knocked off, only way is that the terrorists flew the planes themselves.
