yep... might cause a lot more bandwith is the thing.... most message board systems have signature files incorporated into the code... you set it in your profile and never have to paste it every time you post a message b/c it puts it there for ya... some people have some pretty decorative signature files what we try to do on the sites Im mods at are limit the file size for pics used so its not too long to load a page..

well i couldnt say.. i dont know the bandwidth limits they would want to set here... i wouldnt make the files over 100kb myself.. and restrict pixel size so people dont have something like a 600x600 signature file just to piss people off... or you could handle that thru the premium thing only (meaning you could take away their premium privlages if they abuse it).. hell i dunno... have to see what they think

you can put icons - known on other boards as personal icons - on the left.... what i am talking about and assume Callip is... is signatures.. which go at the bottom of a post... on car sites its always a logo, car pic, list of mods of the car, etc, etc.... here it would be more like an IM profile thing..

this message board system uses the smallest restricted height size for standard sizing than any ive ever seen... if you had a small personal icon on the left under the 'edit post' within a set pixel size it wouldn't make the post size too big.. if you don't believe me go to any other message board site that uses it...

seriously i don't see how it would make psots too tall... those who don't have one wouldn't force the height increase... or you can set everybody's post to a standard height like a lot of boards do..

meaning it would include the name, status, post count, options, personal icon - in that order...

well think of the filesize of buddy icons... and look how other boards do it.. limit both file size and pixel size.. once they are in cache they will reload immediatly anyways... all depends... maybe it could be a vote thing if they would be willing to implement it
