I would like an ignore list that would prevent me from seeing threads created by the users I specify, as well as masking any posts they make in other threads and preventing me from receiving TWW mail from them. 11/7/2001 4:39:15 PM |

I like this idea as well. Is it possible? 11/7/2001 4:40:03 PM |

If you can think it, you can code it. The question is whether CrazyJ and Joe feel like implementing it. 11/7/2001 4:40:49 PM |

to many of the threads wouldn't make sense
plus reading the opinions (however innane) of other posters can help you to think about what you say
would there really be a froshkiller, were there no trapezius? you'd just be another faceless poster 11/7/2001 7:59:31 PM |

That's entirely untrue. I command enough power of presence and personality to define myself outside of any squabble with him. 11/7/2001 8:07:34 PM |

i would think it would work the same as ignoring someone in an aol chat room...once you do, nothing they say appears on your screen...the conversations still flow relatively smoothly...blocking people from emailing you is also a good idea...and that has nothing to do with forming your opinion on a thread or anything like that...my guess is that it is complicated though... 11/8/2001 1:53:03 AM |

mmm.. yeah, i think it would require a tremendous amount of resources. Think of all the compares that would take place in such a system. 11/8/2001 6:26:57 PM |

Yeah as Hemogoblin said, it *could* be coded pretty easily, but it would create a huge strain on database. 11/8/2001 6:34:59 PM |
