Anyway I expect another ALCS appearance this year or the season is a failure.

I don't like that David Wells has a plus-8 ERA this Spring and is 41 but hey, we'll see.

I liked the Renteria pickup but Clement and Miller scare me a litte. Too inconsistent.

the sox starting pitching could be our achilles heel, i still have confidence that our bullpen will be the best in the majors, we lost some defense with meintkiewicz getting the slip but our hitting is still going to be solid. I expect this to be a breakout year for Bronson.

** I don't see how people can say baseball is in trouble btw? Just reading the NY Daily News and Boston Globe this morning shows what baseball is to most of the county (excluding the South and Texas where Football will always be king and no one will care about baseball). It gives me goosebumps reading how Boston and NYC are before a baseball season.
