Is there anywhere that I can downlaod and burn full albums, cds, whatever, for free? I mean I will pay a membership fee, I just don't wanna pay .99 cents a song. No bearshare or any of that, something that uses news groups or something.

it "conforms to their laws" to the extent that they bribe the proper authorities to avoid being shut down.
I repeat: they are not paying the copyright holders. downloading from them is illegal. it is no different that downloading from kazaa except you're paying to make sure the songs are tagged correctly.

WRONG.

They bribe the authorities to override the BRIBES they are taking from the RIAA and the conglomerates to shut them down.

They are NOT BREAKING ANY RUSSIAN LAWS.

It is NOT illegal to download them currently. It is COMPLETELY different from Kazaa.

and EVEN IF it were legal in Russia, that wouldn't make it legal here.
and EVEN IF it was legal here, it doesn't change the fact that THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS AREN'T BEING PAID.
And thus, from an ethical standpoint, it still wouldn't be different from downloading from a p2p source.

not because its a legal service but because for under 10 cents i can easily find the song i am looking for, choose the format and quality, and not worry about any spyware or viruses.
