The anticipation and giddy excitement of the first week of classes, intellectual discussions, random events on the brickyard, walking to classes, court of the carolinas, the belltower, football games, americana open mics, the long tables in the library, the free expression tunnel art(?), and all of the bright and smiling faces.

I miss the times when it snowed on campus and classes stopped so the parties could begin. In 1999/2000 it snowed 3 feet and we all took dining hall trays and went sledding at the Court of the Carolinas before they ruined the hill with that stupid brick wall.

I remember this group of guys sledding on a car door they got from somewhere and this other crowd using a stolen lab table.
