i like to watch the movies that stored in my PC on TV. since the pc is in my room and the TV is in living room, what's the best idea to hook them up? here are 2 options that i am considering now.
1. buy a Media Media Player like this - http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=318
2. i have a old PII PC, so get a wireless card and video card w/ TV tuner and use it. but then i need to get some sort of remote to play/FF/RW. is that kind remote available on market?
b/w those 2 choice, which will cost less and will play video more smooth? or do you have any other suggestion? thanks 8/10/2005 4:06:24 PM |

is a pII strong enough to use for that? 8/10/2005 4:09:02 PM |

why do you need a 'media media player'? you could make do with just a regular old media player, couldn't you? 8/10/2005 4:14:13 PM |

i thought about xbox but it'll cost more than anyother choice.
used xbox - $100 mod chip and other parts - $100 network card - $100
it will cost about $300 which i can't afford. 8/12/2005 7:11:07 PM |

you can mod your xbox for free if you know someone with a modded xbox, mechassault, and a memory card. since you're streaming the media there's no need to update the hardware. 8/13/2005 7:43:41 PM |

if I were you I'd use the game save exploit, load evox, and then use the slayers' disk and setup phoenix bios loader.
