If AGP4x is only slightly faster than AGP8x (so slightly that ATI and Nvidia will tell customers who have problems with their card to turn it down to AGP4x because they will notice almost no difference in performance) Then I highly doubt PCI-E at 16x is that much faster. I also hear there is an AGP Express comming out soon. From the test I've seen PCI-E is mainly for the future not really that much advantage right now in speed. 8/11/2005 4:51:14 PM |
