Ok, so my computer just said that I have an infection and it keeps telling me that my Active desktop is lost, and it keeps going from my screen saver to a background that tells me about an infection. Anyone know how I can fix it?

do people really still use active desktop? i thought after IE4 ppl stopped

It's the only way to set your own picture as the desktop in Windows ME, as far as I know.

Its my roomates computer. It happens with ever application but I think its some StopZilla shit. Theres just a circle in the bottom right of my computer(where it shows whats running) that is red and white with a ! in the middle. It doesnt do anything when I click on it. It just says:

YOUR COMPUTER IS INFECTED

Click here to protect your computer from spyware / virus threat

it takes me to PS Guard website when I double click on it
