Inspiron 6000. The touchpad doesn't scroll left to right but does scroll up and down. Yes i tried it when there was an actual need to scroll left to right. I got the laptop last week. There are no new drivers to dl...the latest one came along in May. Is there a setting i'm not selecting? 8/18/2005 12:08:38 AM |

make sure you have the latest drivers for the touchpad. it's possible that windows is either using generic touchpad/human interface drivers or buggy drivers that shipped with your laptop.
if your computer is out of warranty and your touchpad is actually broken in some way... get a usb mouse with a tilt wheel. it'll be cheaper than repairing the touchpad if out of warranty. 8/18/2005 11:01:41 AM |
