Na, The Rock is a much better actor than Vin, I mean The Rock has been in action and comedy, and he was pretty funny in "Be Cool". Vin doesn't have the charisma to carry a role like The Rock does, but he did do a pretty good job with his Riddick character.

The Rock has a LONG list of films in pre-production, production, or about to come out, so hopefully it's a sign of good things to come. I wouldn't mind seeing The Rock in either a serious role or something like a romantic-comedy type thing, just to see how well-rounded of an actor he is.

^I agree with the comedy part. He was pretty funny in Be Cool and SNL. It seems that he does a really good job making fun of himself (the whole eyebrow thing he did in Be Cool made me lol)

Walking Tall, The Rundown, or Be Cool?

All three of those were pretty good, and he did well in all of them.

Next up is the release of Doom, so we'll get to see how we does in the serious horror/action movie. Though we'll have to keep in mind the likeliness that the plot/script will suck as it is an adaptation from a video game.
