how do i turn it back on do you think its something in bios, or is there some button hidden in xp that i can click on?

its already on that setting.

ive got four eide drives, are there only four DMA channels normally ?

is it possible that dma resources are being diverted to my nero image drive? I hadn't thought of it being capable of fucking with my actual hardware configuration. reads it as an scsi device right so wouldn't it have been mapped through a completely different controller alltogether anyway?
any thoughts?
