Give me a break, he will eventually. He is the BEST quarterback ever in my opinion. And he spells it Peyton not Payton. And by the way, did you see the Colts defense last nite?

Marino had the best arm, unquestionably.

But he was not the best QB ever.

peyton has never won a big game in his life, unless you count the playoff wins against denver at home......look at his college career, he could never beat florida to contend for a national championship....he is a great stats qb with great vision, but he is not a good enough competitor to win a super bowl.......

Who in the league right now is a better QB than Peyton?

Vick

duh

You could easily argue that Brady is a more valuable QB because he performs better in the clutch.

right now i say you're wrong. No one is doing their thing better than Peyton right now. Vick is not a better QB, no way in hell. Brady maybe, but right now no.

Vick was a joke

Brady has the rings, which gives him the edge right now. If Peyton can't win a SB this year with the defense the Colts have, it won't even be up for debate.

Yeah the Peytons basically have this one year window (MAYBE two, counting next year, but it's a stretch) to win it

so with that said

Peyton 24, Vick 20
just for shit's sake

Colts look like a lock at this point, with that tenacious D and the Peyton/James/Harrison combo on offense.

I dont see how Carolina could beat the Colts if they both got to the superbowl.

As a Patriots fan, it pains me to say this, but no, they will not be in the Super Bowl this year and Tom Brady will get this team to the playoffs (which as banged up as they've been is just as impressive as anything Manning will do this season), and he will finally lose a playoff game. That being said, Indy has had too easy of a time thus far, and have not been tested by a really good defense. In the NFC, Carolina is looking like the only team that can consistantly keep from shooting themselves in the foot.

Panthers - 24
Steelers - 16

Denver 24 - Atlanta 17

just because I want to be different.

Denver, not so much of a stretch. Atlanta, you're standing a bit far out there on that limb.

in the nfc it is a complete toss up

im still not 100% sure about the panthers but there are at least 5 or 6 teams that have a good chance at going to the superbowl from the nfc

panthers, seatle, cowboys, giants, atlanta ...

so id say panthers 31 colts 27

He has been this good for 5 FUCKING YEARS, and btw they run the ball now more so his numbers are actually down. Im sticking by my prediction at the first of the year before the Colts started their run.

Why? They have already demolished them once and if they meet again in the playoffs it will be in Indy not in Foxboro like all the other times.

In the other Superbowl Predictions thread I picked Denver vs. Seattle, haha, didn't even remember this thread, don't know why I picked Cincy vs. Panthers, haha, oh well, go Panthers.
