I have a couple of 3ivx that I want to put in either Divx of Xvid format but I can't find out how. Any suggestions? 9/24/2005 11:01:10 PM |

why? 3ivx is mpeg4 standards compliant. other codecs should be able to decode it. 9/24/2005 11:36:47 PM |

^^ It wouldn't play on my xbox properly, so I want to either convert it to Divx/Xvid or convert it to DVD.
^ autogk wouldn't let me load it. It says it can only convert MPEG2 files to Divx/Xvid. 9/25/2005 3:59:58 PM |

Quicktime Pro with the full Divx codec could do it, but you would have to pay for/pirate those. Not sure how good they are on Windows either. 9/25/2005 10:18:29 PM |

FourCC is a tag that tells the player what decoder to use on the file.
I usually set it to DivX if im having issues with a file, but you might want to set it to XviD for use on your Xbox.
