I haven't seen then in over 3 years and I'm going to see them at a bar tonight.
Just wondering how they've been recently. I haven't even followed any of their new albums. 9/27/2005 10:55:16 AM |

They've turned from art-rock into radio rock since they lost their original guitarist. I don't like the new guy very much, but they're still good. 9/27/2005 11:26:02 AM |

After the Spiritual Machines album. He co-wrote most of the songs on Gravity and their new one. It's more riff-based and less... "organic" than their music was before. 9/27/2005 12:01:25 PM |

^^i didn't realize they had a new cd out. i agree about gravity, i didn't really care for it. if their newer cd sounds more like the older olp stuff, i'm gonna have to check it out. 9/27/2005 12:49:14 PM |

Gravity is utter, utter crap, and I listened to the previews of their new one on iTunes and can't say that it sounds much better.
They used to be so good. 9/27/2005 12:53:09 PM |

Show was pretty good, and the venue was pretty nice as well.
They played a bunch of songs I don't know and of course their classics/hits Clumsy, Somewhere Out There, Innocent, Superman's Dead, and 4am.
