anybody have anything on this AIM virus?

it was sent randomly to me by a person i hadn't talked to in a long time.

the IM said "haha ain't i cool" with the link underneath, you click the link, dl the file, open the file and then your buddy list goes apeshit up and down and sends the same message to a few other people. it IMed a girl i didn't even have on my buddy list.

the dled file is gone apparently, is it gone completely or should i scan my computer to make sure?

while i was typing this a "C:\WINDOWS\system32\SILENT~1.exe" MSDOS window popped up.

aim is the devil...i wouldn't ever click a link in there without asking them "is this really a link"

if you get the same generic "check out my picture" or whatever...it's a virus

i've had two people send me that IM so far today

first one i clicked and website didnt load

second one tried to make me dl a file in word and i abruptly hit cancel
