first off you misused that quote...i dont think jackson would say you have a very strong and rich mind if you continuously spelled his name as Anrdew Jackson

also yeah i'll argue with a president

Jackson had atrocious grammar

awful

I had to go through his papers for a project, and they might as well have started the whole collection with a "(" and ended it with a ") [sic]"

favorites do not require logic or reasons

its not like i'm calling him the best or the worst

i'm just saying he is my favorite

but i mean

dude was a war hero in like 7 wars
had a bullet in his chest so close to his heart they just had to leave the bitch in there
the hermitage
and so on and so forth

~10 seconds after recieving the bullet to the chest, he fatally shot his dueling partner in the groin.

He's far and away the hardest core president we've ever had, but I'm still not a fan.

For me, its a tossup between Jackson and FDR. Jackson kicked ass for reasons given above. Hell, someone tried to assisinate him (think thats where the bullets from), and he chased after the guy and beat him with his hickory stick. FDR I like because he was the guy we needed in one of our toughest times, and our country came out better because of him. But those are just my feelings, not my logic.

Funny shit.

That said, my favorite was Jefferson even though he too was an asshat on a few occasions.

i like TR b/c of his progressivism and the fact that he broke w/ his party to continue to pursue it.

i didnt really care much for his imperialistic ambitions (ie: "the big stick"), but it was pretty damn cool when he went and stood in front of the White House and challenged Taft to a fight b/c he thought he was an inept successor who was screwing up his reforms (albeit one TR picked, but i digress).
