I have a 2 month old dell 600m that is making a high pitched noise. The noise seems to be dependent on what website I am viewing. it sounds like morse code. any ideas? 9/29/2005 2:07:43 PM |

It's probably interference with your sound card. Good luck fixing it. 9/29/2005 3:38:59 PM |

no, not cell phone. it happens in my room and on campus. I only use wireless internet - could that have something to do with it? 9/29/2005 5:49:42 PM |

i ASSUME it's only when the AC power cord is plugged into the wall... 9/29/2005 9:58:37 PM |

it happens when running on battery and when plugged in the wall. talked to dell and they had me do something with bios. Dont know what it did but it fixed the problem. 9/30/2005 1:02:15 AM |
