Long story short. Cisco won't let me get a copy of the user manual unless i sign a contract. I'm not going to pay them for something that should be free or a modest charge. The only thing they have available is a DVD of thousands of manuals updated monthly. So I'm here hoping someone here who might work for cisco can snag the PDF or a manual for me.
I just can't believe they don't offer the fucking manual that COMES with the item online. I've never seen a business like this. 9/30/2005 10:41:18 AM |

Friend fo mine at Cisco got me the PDF. I completely understand if it was a technical manual telling you how to connect it with other cisco firewalls or other advanced things but all i wanted to know was how to connect and normal means of connecting were being refused or not working.
I just screwed up and forgot to use https instead of http. The manual that comes with the product would have solved that issue in 20 seconds.
I think Cisco's policy on that is retarded. 9/30/2005 12:14:22 PM |
