....protected to unprotected. I am using iTunes to try and upload songs to my phone and it wont convert one of my songs because its "protected"

but the easiest way is to simply use windows media player to burn a cd
and use iTunes (or your favorite ripping program)

(btw, you have to own the songs to do this..)

well this song was on my comp before i got itunes so that is probably why im getting shit from it. That stinks. So there is no other way other to rip a cd?

You could try uploading the songs to your phone via windows media player if thats where you originally purchased the song.
