ok, i clicked "run" on a pop up without checking it out first, because, yes, i'm retarded. as soon as i clicked it i was like NOOOO why did i do that?!! but i did, and here's what happened: about 3 seconds after clicking the link, the computer completely shut off and powered down. i turned it back on, booted up again, and then after 1-2 minutes it shut off again. next time it wouldn't turn on at all, so i unplugged it and waited a little while, then turned it on again, started up, and the same thing happened - it shut down after a minute or 2. this happens every time i turn it on. would a virus make this happen? or is it the power supply? 10/3/2005 4:46:53 PM |
