I recently lost my cell phone so I have to get a new one. I currently have a plan with Cingular but I'm going to switch to Verizion soon. Does anyone know anything about what kind of phone I should look into that will "rollover" and work with both companies? I don't need a camera phone or a phone that plays music or anything special like that...just a phone...not lots of money. Also do you have any idea where I could get a phone cheap?

cingular is GSM, Verizon is CDMA, so no phone you get with cingular will work on a verizon network

buy whatever you can get for $10 till your contract runs out with cingular and then spend $100 for a phone that isnt any better with verizon
