for some reason cut/copy/paste has intermittently been not working in firefox in the past couple of days. it would be a lot less strange if it just entirely quit altogether, but it just happened for a little while last night and then started working again. and now today it stopped working again. restarting firefox doesn't help. it seemed to return to working order fairly randomly.

basically when i copy something from a webpage, if i try to paste it anywhere in the browser (in the google search bar or the url bar) the paste command will be greyed out or it will simply not paste my copied selection when i try to paste.

okay after a little more searching i found a forum that addresses this already.
i would paste the link, but i don't want to type it all out on here (since paste won't work). it is the hit from the "mozillazine" web forum. this problem has existed for at least a year, but seems to have become more prevalent in the past month or so. no one seemed to have an answer there.

seems obvious but just in case, have you tried removing and reinstalling firefox?
