Have a computer that is BSOD on windows xp pro.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
0X0000000A (0X00000015, 0X00000002, 0X00000001, 0X804E6884)


How do I hunt down the cause of this. It dumped the memory, but I am not sure what to google to find out the device that is causing this.

how frequent is it? have u installed any new hardware recently?

it appears to be randomly intermitten(sp?), the computer is not mine, I am trying to troubleshoot it for the person. He says nothing new was installed, etc.

Been working right for 39 months, this started yesterday...

I found the complete memory dump, any ideas how to debug it?

i ran dumpchk.exe on the dump and it does not list an exception... but all the articles i see says it should.... what a bullshit problem.

Check for all the usual suspects:

sypware
virii
overheating
etc...

it's a piece of hardware.

remove addin cards, add them back one at a time, reinstalling the drivers for each.
