I have a very simple microphone Plantronics .Audio 15. It turns out it doesn't work with my Mac. A quick serch on Google revealed that "MAc users might require an additional adapter". What is it? I wonder if I need to buy that or just invest in a better microphone. 10/20/2005 11:54:36 PM |

You probably need a line level mic. 10/21/2005 12:53:51 AM |

What does it mean? Why are some mics not line level? 10/21/2005 1:31:37 AM |

Either:
1.) Yes, preferably a digital mic that connects via USB. Mac OS X supports most USB mics without needing additional drivers.
2.) No, if you buy an adapter like an iMic (from Griffin Technologies).10/21/2005 9:19:53 AM |
