I saw the preview...I had no clue what was going on. Were the good guys waking the bad thing, or were the bad guys? and the new species, is that good or bad? I thought it'd be good but they were making it look bad...

Yeah i got hooked on the movie when it came out on HBO. I guess that winged thing was marcus because at the end of the first movie his "pure" vampire blood was mixed with that lichen (sp?) blood. I remember that cause his eyes looked all weird. I'm glad they still have that guy in it too, the one that was the first vampire-lichen.

i want them to make the Vampires more authentic looking. The lycans were so well done but the vampires were just too human looking

^^alot...he has a pretty big part in this one and you also get to see him naked (legs and arms always covering up the junk) if you are into that sort of thing.

he was just supposed to be immortal. no vampire/lycan powers, just can't die unless you really fuck him up although it was hinted that he was still really powerful in some way. william and markus were the same way, but when bitten by wolf and bat respectively it reacted with their immortality and mutated into lycan and vampire. the shit with seline biting him to get his powers was dumb and extremely predictable. what is she now, is she still a vampire? just an immortal now? better than both? i guess we'll have to wait for the third one, coming to the direct to DVD 5.50 bin at walmart this summer. really, i just couldn't like this movie. the fact that they couldn't establish a good timeline in the first one and it only got worse in this one just really bugs the shit out of me. and then that they just threw out shit from the first one. does anybody remember the lycan scientist saying they couldn't use markus because he was already a vampire and they need the virus from a "pure" source. and seline saying that the two bloods mixing killed the subject, hence needing it from a non lycan/vampire. yet whoop de fucking doo, markus becomes a hybrid by absorbing the blood from the dead lycan scientist. then there is the fact that what happened to amelias coven? if there is always an elder awake and one asleep at each coven then shouldn't there be another elder at amelias coven? but they say markus is the last elder. then there is the fact that they are going to the castle to kill markus and william. a super hybrid vampire/lycan and his super powerful first lycan brother. so lets only bring the UV rounds that can't do shit against william. the timeline... ok, in the first they say they've been around for over a millenia, i think it was like 1500 years or something. in this they say 1202 is when they imprison william which would put at most viktor becoming a vampire in the early 12th century. then they say seline is 600 years old, but if they caught william in 1202 then they must have imprisoned him fairly soon after which would put seline around 800 years old since her family built his cell. then they say that lycans bit by william can't change back to human form. but if seline is turned in say 1225 this would make her in her early 20s then lucian has already had his revolt and kraven has "killed him" but this doesn't make sense because lucian was born as a lycan and he's in his late 20's early 30's but william hadn't even been caught by the time his was born and lycans in that timeframe still couldn't turn back into human form. all this shit just doesn't make fucking sense. god this movie sucked

Hell, I’d let her bite me, suck me from of all my blood, and leave me to die….just for the experience. The other problem is that the movie tries to put 600 years of history into 2 days of events into 2 hours of film. Lots of things going on….don’t bring a blonde…she’ll never understand “why the guys that need to shave really badly are fighting the guys with bad teeth.” "
