I really hate to admit this, but it was fun...

Here's a short little video of a 12.7 sec run in a modified C5 @115mph. Had severe traction problems (didn't heat the tires or anything, and it's not exactly set up for drag racing either). It has a cam, full exhaust intake. Heads, different cam and clutch going in today (had cluch slip in 3rd), and test will be repeated a few times in the coming weeks. The car had full interior/spare/tools, as well as floor mats, and everything else one carries when driving somewhere.

I actually beat the camaro next to us in both trap speed and time, but not 60', as he was on slicks...

No, no they don't. Mistake on my part.

It did have a passanger and like I said all the rest of the junk of a normal daily driver like washer fluid! It even had a full tank of gas...

Thanks, it had severe traction issues even trying to be gentle into 2nd gear. You can tell if you look for it in the video. Trap speed was actually 115.8 or so. I bet it'll break 120 in a few weeks I'm going to have to do this in my 944 turbo, too bad as they don't like to be dragged that much...

It's my good friend Randy's. He had a highly modified Porsche 944 Turbo as well. Unfortunately I'm not getting to work much on the vette anymore as we live about a hundred miles apart.

Oh and I had a stick of gum. I almost forgot, I was wearing a sweater too. Should be in the 10s when we take all that stuff out.

The car's pretty stout, makes me want one again...
