I am just curious if anyone knows what would cause my cd player to play cds in kinda double speed. Everything sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks. Any ideas? I tried fastforward, rewind, and changing songs, everything was fast. Weezer never sounded so funny. I turned it off and turned it back on then it worked again. It's a battery powered cd player also.

Actually, it's in my shower in the apartment. It's never been near the reactor
