Here lately, I've been unable to open up taskmanager to see what's running. Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn't open it, and I can't open it by running taskman.exe.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

also Ctrl + Shift + Esc opens Task Manager.

yeah he couldn't remember the exact spelling. I've run all kinds of shit on his comp and found countless spywares and worms and stuff, I removed them all but it still won't open. Looked up some other forums and no help yet. I guess I'll have to reformat it for him.

if you hit ctrl-shift-esc a bunch right after you hit enter or click to login, you might be able to beat the spyware/virus' startup and get a working task manager...

yeah I didn't know that either. I fixed the problem actually. Come to find out it's my fucking keyboard layout. The Delete key is something different. There is a Del key way off in the lower right next to the 0.

ctrl+alt+esc = alt tab w/o gay pop up window and it won't maximize the window if it's minimized, but will select it on the taskbar.

no, they just have a different layout and our friend didn't bother reading his keyboard.

He meant that there is a Delete key, as well as a Del key, the Del key isn't where it usually is.
