spookyjon, it's weird you say that...i was talking to that bj guy from american aquarium, and he said something about getting this noisy art band to open and he said it was "the most thought provoking thing on eight legs since that Jacques Cousteau movie about octopi." so i'm fucking there. at worst, it's 6 bucks wasted, and maybe i can meet a chica. well, probably not, but i can at least get rejected by some hott chicas. which is cool.

dude, i wouldn't be talking shit about no exxon's...
i ran into one of the dudes at the thrift store the other day, and he was getting his performance garb ready (this is their first show in a long time, besides that slint mini-tour). he needed a small black t-shirt so he asked the woman behind the counter for it.
she explained the concept of a thrift store and said they didn't have a small in black at the moment. when she said that, the motherfucker (he's the guitarist...his name is thorbirgishallson i think) rips his jeans off, pulls his guitar out of his asshole and spears the old lady in the neck. then the bass player (i think his name is hookyhanshorgan) shit on her. IN PUBLIC.

mothafuckas is crazy. i can't wait to see them perform.

i heard they recorded an entire album with steve albini. they weren't happy with the results so they pinned him to the floor, covered his genitals in caviar, and let a baby alligator loose on his manhood. somehow, they convinced bob weston to rerecord the album. they were happy with it, and it should be out sometime in late february.

pinkpanther, i just called hookyhanshorgan and asked him to email me some clips so i could post them somewhere from the albini sessions, not realizing that weston had done an updated version. let's just say that he wasn't happy, and he told me that if i even show my face at the show tomorrow he would kill me with intense basshead sunn o)))) fury of disaster. i don't even know what that means.

guess ill hide my face with a football helmet, though, as i will not miss this for all the feedback in boris.
