Ive given it multiple chances, and the show just isnt very good. None of the characters are memorable or very funny. The knife throwing episode was probably one of the least funny things ive seen in a while.

The chick is hot though.

My Name is Earl is not going anywhere, it is getting good ratings for a new show, and developing a devoted following

The office got picked up for more episodes for this season, which pretty much pushed scrubs back until next year, at the best

Zach Braff seems to think this is now going to be the last season, just seems frustrating to all involved to work so hard on a show, win awards, nominations, praise, then get stuck behind two relatively new shows....

If NBC actually owned the show (another network owns it, can't remember which) then it would get more publicity, have a more definite spot

Its sad to see, b/c this is one of the best shows on television, i was hoping at least for 6-7 seasons

I just posted this on another thread, but Braff has said that they've been guaranteed a full season(actually more episodes than a standard season have been ordered) on the air, they just don't know when it's going to start.

Honestly, it'd be stupid to not put it in the same block as Earl and the (American) Office and try to find another really smart and funny midseason replacement and let that 2 hours be the new Must See TV, because Joey sucks and Will & Grace hasn't done anything original for at least 4 seasons.

I happened to flip through the channels last night and caught about 5 minutes of Four Kings (the show that is one Thrusday nights before My Name Is Earl) and it was CRAAAAPPPPPP! Scrubs should have it's position if there is any justice in this world. Can't comlain about Earl or the Office, those are good shows (although not as good as Scrubs in my opinion.

Just so you know, Scrubs will run back to back episodes Tuesdays at 9:00 and 9:30 PM throughout the month, until all shows go on break for the Winter Olympics.

the whole cast felt they were getting shafted by nbc since nbc wasn't promoting them or airing episodes

so they decided to have a lot more fun on the set and with the acting

it's not different...its much more free and laid back because they just don't "care"
