I don't know if you guys remember the game where he played against us, but in that game Randle El played QB, RB, WR, punter, and punt returner

seemed like he started at wr that game, then went to qb for the second half against us, either way i remember terrence holt knocking the living shit out of him. 11/13/2005 11:19:30 PM |

he played qb against us in 2000, in 01 he played all over the field, even punting it once, but only lined up at qb for 1 or 2 snaps... they tried to get him the ball every play and we shut him down, after that game he finished the season at qb 11/14/2005 12:10:45 AM |

i honestly believe we'd be better off with randle el at qb instead of turnover tommy.
hopefully randle el will at least take some snaps this week in practice 11/14/2005 1:58:22 AM |

^^Correct. Randel El and Philip had a shootout that we won at Indiana in 2000. In our 2001 opener at home Randel El moved to wideout for the "Grand Experiment". The backup/new QB hung Randel El out over the middle early in the game, and Terrance Holt layed him out. We had a couple punt blocks and blew them out that game, if I remember correctly. 11/14/2005 10:03:15 AM |

yeah i had been hearing from all the fantasy type sites that ben would be ready next week, but mike patrick said more than once that he wasn't expected to be ready. baltimore injured our starting quarterback both times we played them last year, so i don't know if that would be the best time for ben to return, but i also don't want him rusty for indy the following week, so maybe it would be best if he did come back.
arthroscopic knee surgery isn't really something you can "reaggrivate" by playing too soon, it would just be uncomfortable for him to play through it. 11/14/2005 2:17:22 PM |
