Just finished rewatching voyager and it was a lot better than I remembered. They definitely wasted 7 of 9s character.

I’m rewatching DS9 now and it’s leagues beyond Voyager. Easily the best sci-fi since it aired.

I've been watching voyager again. It is easily the worst star trek. I am glad they made a FE-male the captain (stupid ferengi reference). Janeway had some really great moments. The writing and plots of a large number of the episodes seemed like they were milking the nerd demographic, but they miscalculated. There are good characters on voy. The Doctor. ... ... and maybe tom paris. and Janeway to some extent. But they overloaded it with scifi garbage in my opinion. (the lizard episode as the best example)

I liked the show when they went to the 90's and hung out with Sarah Silverman. I'm trying to be positive.

NO characters on voy live up to odo and quark, bashir and o'brien, dax and worf... and Elim Garak.

^ the writing for Garak is phenomenal. I don’t know anything about spycraft but I’d believe whoever wrote his lines was an expert.

Dax is the worst DS9 character. There’s some brilliant episodes but I see why the actress wanted to leave the show. They never figured out how the trill stuff should work. Odo was a good character but the fact he was a shapeshifter was also grossly underutilized.

Season 4 episode 10 and 11... so prescient. Amazing these were written even before 9/11. Really goes to show how circular history is.
