and i can't get in the fucking repair tool on the windows xp cd to fix it because i don't know the damn admin password

does anyone know of a free, fast version of http://www.loginrecovery.com/ so i can at least try to see if it is repairable?

why bother with the recovery console.

Just do a repair install. You wont need the admin password

at what point does it offer to do a repair install?

i only got to it saying press ENTER to setup Windows XP and press R to repair

i press R, i need a password

i press enter, i don't get any repair options, it just wants to install anew

my computer is too old to be bootable from a cd

i think the newest BIOS build for it is sometime in '01
