Thoughts concerning the game(I was sitting on the 50 yrd. line): I was COMPLETELY Proud of the Eagles today....going into halftime we were fighting for our lives holding onto a 21-14 lead.....but the missed field goal by All Conference Kicker Brandon Gilbert went slightly right...and we didn't have enough breathing room.

With 1:29 left in the 4th quarter, either our coach or offensive coordinator calls not one but two conecutive timeouts while our guys have the momentum (I DEFINTELY didn't understand that), so North Alabama picked up the first down..then we got a PHAT sack on # 18...and then N. Alabama picks up a 9 yrd. pass with a VERY questionable placement by the refs...but it doesnt matter..beacuse with 4 seconds left in the game their field goal kicker kicked a 35-38 yrd. field goal to win it in the seconds.....THAT WAS BY FAR THE BEST GAME I HAVE WATCHED BY A NC FOOTBALL SQUAD SO FAR THIS ENTIRE 2005-2006 SEASON.....mark my words NCCU will be back stronger next year..we're only losing like two-three peeps on offense..and our backup QB..can play his ass off.
