Quicktime is Apple

Flash is Macromedia

Make sure you've got the right software installed.

Don't forget the standalone version of quicktime so that you don't have to install the piece of shit that is iTunes.

eh, well, i figured out that im just having this problem in mozilla. flash and quicktime work fine in IE. When i run Mozilla, flash wont play and instead I get a broke quicktime icon (or a ? rather).

from mozilla, just go out and download the newest flash(even if its not any newer than what you have) and reinstall it. may have to restart your computer(i did before anything changed) fixed this problem for me

-AdBlock can cause issues with Flash.
-Quicktime just sucks in Mozilla ... version 7 may have improved something, but there always the quicktime alternative (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm).
-RealPlayer alternative is also on free-codecs.com
