Is the E3 worth the extra $$$?
Also, if anyone knows where a deal is on them, let me know. 11/26/2005 2:52:26 PM |

I can vouch for the E3's. I've had them for a long time and absolutely love them. I can't say anything for the E2's, since I've never tried them.
You have to be careful with your Shures though... They're pretty sensitive and can easily get clogged and cause problems. Make sure you keep your ears nice and clean, because these things go into your ear canal and it's easy for earwax to make its way into the mini drivers.
They come with a 2-year no-questions-asked warranty, which is nice. I've had to send mine back in once. When I run I think I got a lot of sweat in one of the earpieces and it killed the volume level on it. I sent it in and 3 days later I got a brand new sealed pair of E3s. 11/26/2005 3:09:57 PM |

I bought the e2s, and they really didn't have enough bass for my tastes (which are fairly conservative for bass),which is what all the reviews said.
The mids and trebles were extremely clear. I hear the E3s are better for bass, but i've never heard them. 11/27/2005 4:14:41 AM |
