Yeah, look at DSL for your area. See if they offer 3 megabit dsl and for what price. My parents got it for 39.95 a month and just stuck with that and direct tv. Won't touch anything timewarner with a 10 foot pole after dealing with them for 6 years.
So... if you're happy with direct tv and don't have an HDTV yet... stick with them and look at DSL or just pay a little more for cable internet.
If you've got an HDTV though... it might be worth looking at timewarner's packages just because I hear they have the best deal for getting lots of HD content and a decent DVR and such. I still don't like them, but it could be worth checking out. 11/30/2005 2:17:56 PM |
