My mom works in a cubicle where her back is turned to anyone entering her office area, thus most people scare the mess out of her when they come up from behind and ask her a question. She's asked for a computer monitor mirror, but after searching online, the most popular mirror I've found is this:
This mirror looks really cheap. I was wondering if anyone knew of a store that sold these kind of mirrors, preferably one that has an arm that hooks into the monitor. I've seen this type online, but I'd have to order 500 just to buy them!!!
Thanks! 11/30/2005 3:35:42 PM |

you should get her a mirror from a junkyard from the passenger side of a car, with the label "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"
figure out a way to mount that to the side of her monitor, that would be classic 11/30/2005 4:15:19 PM |

^That would be pretty funny...
I have a bike mirror, which is the perfect sized mirror, but I can't figure out how it would stay on the monitor, aside from using tacky duct tape. 11/30/2005 4:25:02 PM |

I found a good looking mirror on ThinkGeek.com http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/accessories/2940/
Also just search google for "monitor mirror" and it'll turn up a bunch of shit http://tinyurl.com/8xqul 11/30/2005 4:29:35 PM |

a guy at the office I used to work at had one of those little $0.99 sticky blind spot mirrors you can get at walmart stuck to his cubicle so people couldn't sneak up on him.

^^^ I had already googled this and found tons, but a lot of them require you to buy at least 10...some up to 500!!!
I'll probably end up buying the ThinkGeek one but I wanted to see if anyone knew of where to buy a mirror with an arm attachment. 11/30/2005 4:47:19 PM |

Well it's going to be in a law office, so I'd prefer to avoid the tacky duct tape, if possible. 11/30/2005 6:53:36 PM |

the only reason you'd need a mirror on your monitor at work is if you're pr0ning 11/30/2005 8:24:20 PM |

No, she's the computer guru for her office and everyone's always asking her questions...but she gets pretty focused when she's working and she said people scare her! I think it's cute! 11/30/2005 8:58:20 PM |

If its supposed to be kinda classy why not hang up a small mirror or put a small framed one on the desk beside her?
If she gets that wrapped up into work anyhow she probably won't notice someone in the mirror anyhow. 11/30/2005 9:15:11 PM |
