I just bought a car and while researching it subscribed to Carfax for the month of December. Since it's unlimtied use I am willing to pull a report for anyone on here who would like a car looked up.

If you want a report PM me the following information.

- The VIN# of the car you want looked up.
- The e-mail adress you want it forwarded to.

If you fuck up the VIN # it will not work so make sure the VIN is correct. For those of you that dont know where to find your VIN it is on your registration card & on your dashboard near the windshield.

My subscription will end 30 days from today so after December 30 don't ask.

my bonneville on the other hand, comes back with red flags all over the place- all because the previous owner screwed up and checked the "exceeds mechanical limits" box on the title when he sold it to me. apparantly he thought it had a 5 digit odometer, when it really has six, and im sorry but no 96 bonneville has exceeded a six digit odometer.

Fuck carfax.

I bought a car (2000 Mazda Millenia) in Aug. 04 and the carfax on it was clean.

I go to sell it, and have a fucking hell of a time just getting any interest in the thing even at almost trade in value. Finally, a guy looks at it, drives it, is going to buy it at my price. I call him later that day and he says the bank said he could get the loan, he would go by there tomorrow to get the check, did I have the VIN so he could check the carfax. Sure.

He calls back the next day, saying the car had accidents on it and he didnt want to buy it. I look at his sheet he has, and sure enough, there are accidents listed there

Yeah, the reason why I ask is that the carfax I got from the dealer before buying my first car didn't mention a minor accident and that it was a rental car. I found that out later on when I put the car on sale and ran a carfax.
