I'd say doctors make about the same as CEOs
And RNs make about as much as my brother does, and hes an accountant a furniture company.

Well the most straight foward is that the marginal product is typically higher.
However, the deeper answer is that the purpose of money, wealth to be more exact, is to take care of people. Wealth is only valuable when it is used to enrich the lives of people. When the nation gets wealthier more people are taken care of.
It seasy to confuse the value of wealth in general to the value conspicous consumption. Conspicous consumption is almost by definition the most obvious type but it is no where near the most important.12/4/2005 7:32:37 PM |

Managing money, is managing money for rich people.
Taking care of people, those who need the most care (or most people) are poor.
