After the Wisconsin game, I really thought Wake had solved their most glaring problems (well, not "solved," really, but found workarounds for them). Problem is, every single one of those workarounds failed tonight. As a result, Wake looked like ass.

Problem: Wake doesn't play defense.
Solution: Score fast and take advantage of turnovers.
Tonight: Couldn't score in transition, couldn't beat the defense, couldn't get anything off those turnovers.

Problem: Wake takes a lot of bad shots.
Solution: Use your size in the frontcourt to recover those misses and put them in.
Tonight: Depaul manhandled them on the boards.

Problem: Gray's shitty at the point.
Solution: Put Hale at the point, let Gray move off the ball.
Tonight: Gray couldn't find himself any kind of opening, and Hale looked just like a freshman guard.

Haha Wake is ranked 15th. How weak is college basketball this year? If we beat UNCA and Miami we should be way ahead of them. Wake doesn't deserve ANY votes.

College basketball is RIDICULOUSLY weak this year....

By weak I mean the balance is pretty stunning.


teams like Wake, Arizona, and Kentucky simply aren't any better than their opponent every night.

This could be one of those years where every team in the Final Four is a #1 or #2 seed but the first 2 rounds are LOADED with "upsets"
