Does anyone know any good restaurants in Knightdale? Looking for some place to do lunch somewhere on 264 just off the beltline.

264 is the new highway isnt it? if it is there are no restaurants right off that. the beltline newbern ave exit is a good 5-10 minutes from knightdale. for some reason people call tower shopping center area knightdale . but if you really are talking about knightdale theres only a few real waiter restaurants and alot more casual types

knightdale seafood and bbq- all the way at the end of knightdale on the right past the water tower its in a brick building

smithfileds chicken and bbq in front of lowes

some new bar and grill- in the old pizza in building under the water tower
some sports bar, remington grill, andys cheseburgers and cheesesteaks and some other place - in the shopping center right next to walmart facing smithfield road.

in the lowes food shoopping center the frist thing you'll pass- quiznos fuji chine, a mexican restaurant, zaxbys, cicis, quiznos

theres a pizza sub place on the street right before walmart and a chinese restaurant beside adn across the street from walmart. then theres your big fastfood chains throughout that you cant miss.

this is what knightdale is lacking and they are building a huge new shopping centre across from the lowes food one with target home depot, ross 3 dinner restaurant chains (italian, lone star and something else) chickfila and some other shit i cant remember right now.

right off the beltline on 64bus theres a seafood place infront of hamricks, cant remember the name and never ate there to tell you how it is.

I live in knightdale and I never eat there... I always go over to capital cause there really are no good restaurants on 64 bus, just fastfood stuff.

I was thinking 64 at first but put 264. I was thinking over where Hamricks is. I know there used to be an O'Brians over there but heard it closed down. I know where the Walmart is in KD and know where you are talking about socrates. Thanks

hamricks is in tower shopping center which is...RALEIGH. theres a k and s over behind there. theres also a pizza hut in tower and some foreign grill.
theres a milanos pizza and a chinese red dragon in the thing behind burger king on the left a little further down. theres a golden corral down 64 further and thats about it

most of the good restauraunts are on capital like megan said.

i wonder if megan lives in knightdale or just lives in east raleigh. i know a few people who live 10 miles from knightdale and think they do just because the highway sign says knightdale. its truly sad.

I live in the apartment complex right on the line of Knightdale and Raleigh behind foodline. Even though my address is Raleigh its easier to just say Knightdale cause Raleigh is so big and Knightdale give a better idea of where I live.

There is also an Andy's, and Sports Page, Remington Grill on Smithfield Rd.

If you drive into Wendell there is a great mom & pop burger joint off of main street. It is really good and is always busy.

^^ That burger place is called Aubrey's and it is indeed awesome.

Knightdale Seafood & BBQ is good, but since they moved to the new building the quality of the food and the size of the portions have decreased quite a bit. Still good food, don't get me wrong, but it used to be great.

I grew up in Knightdale and it's pretty slim pickings. Most of the new stuff seems to be junk food/fast food. But I did hear they're building a Target across HWY 64 from the Planter's Walk subdivision. I imagine when that's done, there might be some quality restaurants.

and the same wakefiled copany is already planning another shpping center further behind there off knightdale road with a movie theatre super walmart and more restaurants.

I didn't know Winn-Dixie had shut down. I moved out of the area before that happened, but all I can say is, it's about time!! That was the crappiest grocery store! We went there when I was younger, but my parents started shopping on Capital Blvd once WD went downhill...

2012 is when the whole 540 will be done. this leg will be done early 06 (triangle town center to 264knightdale) its already got lamps, median, overpasses all installed been flattened and just needs the final finish of pavement. i think the exits will be louisburg road, buffalo road 64 and 264. 2012 is when this part will be linked through garner. 264-cary. the next leg they will do is cary 40-cary. they dont even have the funding for the garner leg and the full loop may never be completed.
