As a few of ya'll know I'm now teaching technology at a high school. The school has N2H2 filters that block googles image search. We need the find some images of items such as satellites, robots, CAD, CAM, waterjets, etc. Microsoft's clips online is a great resourse but not near as good as google's image search. I use a proxy server to get around N2H2 but I'm not gonna let the students on to my trick or they'll... well you know.
What are some other image search sites that may not be blocked??? 12/20/2005 11:00:48 PM |

have you tried the image search at http://www.google.co.uk?
at work they block ebay.com but not ebay.co.uk
it'll find all the same items and i just have the preferences set to display prices in dollars. 12/20/2005 11:07:28 PM |

If you are really teaching, talk to the IT guy(s) and get yourself full access. 12/21/2005 11:58:03 AM |
